Rebootique Ltd – Warranty Policy

Last updated: October 2025

This Warranty Policy forms part of the Terms and Conditions of Sale between Rebootique Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”) and the customer (“you”, “your”).
It outlines your rights and our obligations under the 6-month limited warranty we provide on all eligible products.

1. Scope of warranty

Rebootique Ltd provides a 6-month warranty from the date of delivery on all refurbished and pre-owned items unless otherwise stated at the point of sale.

This warranty covers:

  • Mechanical or electrical faults that occur under normal use

  • Functional defects that were not present or disclosed at the time of sale

  • Repair or replacement of defective parts where possible

Our goal is to ensure you receive a reliable, working product for the duration of your warranty period.

2. Remedies available

If your item develops a fault within the warranty period, we will:

  1. Inspect and diagnose the item upon receipt.

  2. Where possible, repair the item at no cost to you.

  3. If repair is not practical, we will provide a like-for-like replacement of equivalent value and specification.

  4. If a replacement is not available, you will receive a full refund of the original purchase price.

All warranty work, replacements, and refunds are handled directly by Rebootique Ltd — we do not outsource warranty decisions to third parties.

3. Exclusions

This warranty does not cover:

  • Damage caused by misuse, neglect, impact, liquid, modification, or unauthorised repair

  • Faults arising from software corruption, viruses, or incompatible accessories

  • Cosmetic wear and tear after delivery (e.g. scratches, scuffs, discolouration)

  • Consumables (e.g. batteries, styluses, cables, packaging)

  • Issues caused by use contrary to manufacturer or Rebootique guidelines

  • Damage or loss caused in transit after purchase

If an item returned under warranty is found to have been damaged by the customer or returned in a condition inconsistent with the reported fault, the claim will be refused.

4. Return and inspection process

  1. Contact us at support@rebootique.co.uk or call 0161 825 0087 to report the issue.

  2. Our support team will confirm whether the fault is likely covered by warranty.

  3. If approved, we will provide instructions for returning the item to us.

  4. You must send the item using Royal Mail Tracked 48 (or equivalent tracked service) and include:

    • Your full name

    • Order number

    • A detailed description of the fault

Return postage costs for warranty claims are covered by Rebootique Ltd once eligibility is confirmed.

If the fault is found to be covered under warranty, we will carry out a repair, replacement, or refund in line with Section 2.

If the item is not covered (for example, due to damage or misuse), you will be notified, and no refund or replacement will be issued.
If you wish to have the item returned to you, you must pay the cost of tracked return shipping.

5. Incorrect or fraudulent returns

If you send back an incorrect item or a product that was not purchased from Rebootique Ltd:

  • No refund or replacement will be issued.

  • The item will be retained for 14 calendar days.

  • If you request its return, you must pay the cost of tracked postage before dispatch.

After 14 days, unclaimed incorrect items may be responsibly disposed of.

6. Warranty period and proof of purchase

The warranty begins on the date of delivery and lasts for six (6) calendar months.
You must retain your order confirmation or invoice as proof of purchase.

Repairs or replacements under warranty do not extend or restart the original warranty period.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by UK law, Rebootique Ltd’s liability under this warranty is limited to the original purchase price of the item.
We are not liable for:

  • Any consequential or incidental losses (e.g. data loss, missed profits, or business interruption)

  • Any damage arising from failure to follow manufacturer instructions

  • Software or data recovery costs

Your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 remain unaffected.

8. Governing law

This Warranty Policy shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
